With Maura Bedloe

We’re sorry to report that this workshop has been cancelled. We Unfortunately didn’t receive enough interest to run it at this time, however Maura has expressed to us that she would love to try again later in the year. All tickets sold have been fully refunded.

You’ve finished your short story or novel, and you know there’s a diamond in there.
So how can you buff off those rough edges and make your writing shimmer?
This practical editing workshop will help you to gain the skills you need for the all-
important task of editing your own writing. Using hands-on exercises and examples,
you’ll learn how to identify areas for improvement in your work and to polish your
writing to its highest possible, publishable, standard.

Maura Bedloe is a Tasmanian writer, editor, copywriter and creative writing tutor. She
holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Tasmania, where
she is also an occasional creative writing tutor. Her short fiction and poetry have
been published in anthologies and online in Australia, the USA and UK, and in early
2019 she completed the manuscript for her first novel, Almond. Maura also operates
her own copywriting and editing consultancy, Maura Bedloe Communications.
