Getting it Right with Chris Wallace-Crabbe

We’ll look at ways in which your draft poems can be made sharper, more vivid and more moving. Weeding, pruning and polishing will be involved. All participants will receive Chris’s critical advice. Please submit your poem for feedback to

Chris Wallace-Crabbe is the author of more than a dozen collections of poetry. In 2011, he was awarded the Order of Australia for his services to Australian literature. He has received the St. Michael’s Medal, the Philip Hodgins Memorial Medal, the Human Rights Award for Poetry, and the Christopher Brennan Award for Literature. He was the founding director of the Australian Centre at Melbourne University and has taught at Harvard and Yale universities.
